What the difference between Acetal Copolymer and Dupont Delrin in Sheet or Plate and Round Rod

Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the perfect plastic for turning on a CNC lathe lathe. It is simple to turn, but it does require slow speeds. I use this plastic to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have ordered numerous items from a plastic shop in Anaheim. The smaller parts usually ship promptly and everything is always well packed. I have never had a problem with an order.
Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are very durable and easily machinable, as they have comparable physical properties. They do look the same, but in practical use there are a few differences that may make one preferable than the other. It also depends on your application. As with all plastic materials, make sure to check the typical properties data sheet for the applicable properties you may need for your application.
